SOPHIE XIN JING

Dr. JING is a partner of Zhonglun W&D. Since practicing, she has been focusing on the research of the fields of Marriage and Family Law, wealth and estate management, immigration and labour law. Dr. JING has solid legal theoretical foundation and professional legal literacy. In practice, she has a strong affinity and is good at communicating with the parties. These skills allow Dr. JING to think from the perspectives of the parties and grasps the key points of case accurately. She always taking the maximization of the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of clients and customizes the most suitable solution for each of them.

Dr. JING is also involved in business law, including corporate law, contract and intellectual property law. From setup to development, she provides counselling and assistance to Chinese and foreign clients implementation and execution of all legal operations that are necessary in their companies’ life and projects, such as drafting the articles of association, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments and corporate restructurings, etc. Dr. JING is proficient in the laws of China, France and Quebec of Canada and has rich experience in overseas legal practice, such as Quebec City Courthouse, Laws firms in France and Quebec.

Dr. JING has twelve years of professional legal education background, during her study in France, she has obtained a Professional master’s degree in Commercial Law and a Research master’s degree in Civil Law, and afterwards gained a doctor’s degree in Comparative law with the highest comment of France "Very honorable with the congratulations of the jury unanimously".
