PRACTICE AREAS：

Mr. Ngai is a litigator in his whole professional life. He started his practice before he got qualified to be a lawyer as a police lay prosecutor. With his experience in advocacy, he was deployed as a very active court advocate in the Magistrate and District Court in Hong Kong when he started off as a junior lawyer in an English law firm. After 10 years in that practice, he joined P.C. Woo & Co. as an experienced litigator in both criminal, commercial & civil practice.

With the broad base clientele of P.C. Woo & Co., Mr. Ngai branched out to act as Prosecutor of the Law Society of Hong Kong prosecuting in disciplinary proceedings to help the profession to uphold standard and compliance.

He then took up professional indemnity works appointed by the Law Society as panel lawyers to defend brother lawyers against professional negligence as well as defending medical doctors of public hospitals against medical malpractice suit. He was also instructed by top-up insurers and insurance underwriters to defend other medical professionals, i.e. nurses and paramedics as well as architects and accountants.

Mr. Ngai oversees the Firm's litigation practice as partner in charge of litigation and has extensive experience in handling litigation matters in a variety of legal areas. Mr. Ngai's practice includes corporate insolvency, banking disputes, professional indemnity, matrimonial disputes and labour claims. Mr. Ngai has been advising professional bodies and major insurers on issues of professional indemnity and negligence as well as advising public boards on personal injuries and employee compensation liabilities. He also works with banks, educational institutes and land developers.
