Victor GONZÁLEZ

Victor is a Founding Partner and Senior Adviser at Mexican law firm Vaertis, Attorneys since 2011. He’s an active member and legal adviser of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Technology in Mexico, as well as the Colombo China Chamber of Investment and Commerce. In 2023 he was recognized as the first official representative of the State of Jalisco in China.

He has more than 10 years of field experience in Asia, first as an internal advisor at government organization ProMexico in Taiwan China, and then since 2020 as a senior external adviser for Latin American Legal Affairs at PC Woo & Zhonglun WD.

Victor is also a legal referral for Embassies from Latin America and the Caribbean Region in China, and he periodically assists the Consulate representatives offices of some of these countries in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Chongqing. Together with PC Woo & Zhonglun WD, Victor also represented the business organization "El Gran Bajio" China Office, which aims to promote the central region in Mexico as an investment magnet for Chinese and Asian companies.

His professional practice is primarily focused on Chinese law and practice, Latin American markets, cross-border investment and business development East Asia-Latin America, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution between Chinese and Latin American companies.
